I know of the Russian hamsters,they are a dwarf hamster that are sold in pet shops as pets in the United States. They vary in several colors from almost white to a dark gray that looks almost black.
There are many different breeds of hamsters but only five are available as pets. There are syrians and then 4 types of dwarve hamsters. The four dwarve hamsters are winter whites, chinese, campbells and robovorskis.
