Your menstrual cycle should begin within 5-7 days of taking Prometrium, although it could take less days or a even a few more as each person is different. If your cycle doesn't start by day 10, then call your physician and see which other methods they might want to incorporate into your treatment plan.

After taking dose of prometrium, period may start within 7-8 days. this we are talking about situation of secondary amenorrhea, that is, where women ceased menstural cycle prior to menopause
