How long will someone receive alimony payments?

I would like to know how long alimony payments last.

Usally until the person gets married, or a court can decide. And it also depends on how long the people were married before the divorce. It can vary, it's not just one same thing for everyone.

How long alimony will be provided is usually set in the divorce degree. It is usually 5-10 years OR until remarriage.
