It depends somewhat on which colorant is used, whether it was applied correctly, the condition of the grout before application and how much wear-and-tear the surface where the grout has been applied will be subjected to. A good-quality stain properly applied should last from ten to fifteen years at least.

If the colorant is mixed in with the grout when you are installing the tiles, it will last as long as the grout does. If you are talking about a product that is applied to existing grout, it should still last many years.
