How long will a towing company keep a car?

If the car was towed because it needed repairs, once the work was completed and the bill paid it would be released. If the car was parked illegally, it would be released once the towing bill and any ticket issued were paid. It depends on the reason for the tow.

It depends on company policy. Usally a few weeks to a month then they can seel it to pay off your over due debt from storage fees and towing charges.

depends on the company and their policy. towing companies that work for the city will keep your car for about 90 days give or take. private companies longer

It really depends on what towing company has the vehicle. Most companies will keep these vehicles around one to two weeks.

It most likely depends on the tow company, call them. They will attempt to auction it off if they dont hear from you.

It all depends on why they towed you car to begin with.Towed from being left on the side of the street or highway. Your car can be returned once you have paid all the towing fee and any tickets. If you had your car towed to a garage to be repaired they can keep it till you pay for services.
