This cannot be answered the same way for every person. If you have colored with semi-permanent or a natural dye, you can perm your hair almost immediately afterward. If you have bleached your hair, or used a permanent hair dye, it is best to wait at least one week before perming.

It is recommended to get a perm before a color, due to the double processing and potential damage that may occur. Ideally it should be a perm then wait two weeks then a color but if you chose to color then perm I would suggest to seek the opinion of license colorist.

You should wait four to six months when perming and coloring hair, so that the chemicals from the perm and dye don't react to each other causing damage to your hair. However, I personally have permed my hair one month and the next month dyed it and it was fine.
