Mini-skirt length may be too short for a spring party dress, depending on the event. A safer length would be just above or below the knee - this is an all-purpose length that would give the dress more future uses in your wardrobe - it would be limited if it were too short.

Think about the weather, the place you are going and the crowd there. A micro-mini length will usually be too short for spring. Longer lengths of mini-skirts may be appropriate.
