Generally the gestation period for dogs is 63 days or somewhere around there but just like people, pregnancies can take a little less time or a little more depending on that particular dog. If you still don't have puppies after 70 days though take her to a vet immediately.

Pregnancy is dogs lasts around 9 weeks. Puppies can be delivered anywhere from 58 to 68 days. There is no blood test to determine pregnancy. The vet may be able to tell by physical exam at 26 to 35 days and by xray after 45 days.
