How long does it take to recover from a bilateral knee replacement?

It will usually take up from a month to three depending on the replacement percent. It took my friend 2 months to recover and go to health facility to do check ups and exercises. Don't forget that the more you follow up the therapists check lists the faster the recovery.

More like six to eight weeks. I would strongly advise not to have them both done at once. You literally will not have a leg to stand on. After surgery, intensive physical therapy is needed. This can be done inpatient and should take about two weeks.

what exactly you mean by recovery is pretty subjective here. You should be out of the hospital normally in 3-5 days. But you will need several weeks of rehab before full weight bearing will be allowed. Also taking into consideration the level of pain one can tolerate will affect your recovery
