How long does it take to get results from a drug test?

When someone gets drug tested, whether it be from a private company or an at home test that u send in. The answer is 2 weeks. They have to process the sample among many other patients that are sending them the same thing. Just hang tight and they will arrive soon.

Depends on the type of the testing. Some tests are instant (swabs that change color with the certain drugs). Other tests relatively quickly (urine tests for drugs/alcohol in few minutes). Blood testing for drugs take longer - these would typically be sent off to an outside agency - days to weeks.

The results from a drug test depends on what type it is. If it is a test that is done on color the result will be given immediately. Supposing if it a specified blood test then certain things will be sent to out agencies as that equipment may not be available there,So nothing to worry.
