According to airline flight schedules, it takes approximately 7 hours and 45 minutes. However, this time can be shorter, especially when there is a tailwind. Also, airlines tend to overestimate flying time. You could probably expect to be airborne for about 7 hours.

From New York to London Heathrow airport it's about 7.5 hours give or take flying non-stop. If you flight via Amsterdam, Madrid, or Paris, its well over 10 hours. verify availability of non-stop flights with your airline

It takes about 6 hours in the air, with a bit of added time for take-off and landing. It is one of the easier and shorter flights from New York to Europe.
