Some women get pregnant on the first try; other take years, while some never get pregnant. Lots of things play a factor in getting pregnant-- health, timing, and sperm quality.

Every woman is different and will take thier own time getting pregnant based on themselves and thier partners. If you've been trying for a while and feel concerened about possible fertility issues, talk to your doctor.

Unfortunately, this is not a cut and dry kind of answer. There are some woment who get pregnant without trying, others who try and get pregnant within one or two cycles, while others take months - if not years to conceive. Even when conditions are optimal, conception does not occur every time.

Though the time to get pregnant varies from woman to woman, if you are getting a regular period, are having regular sex, and are not pregnant within the year, then it's time to see a fertility doctor with your partner in order to see if anything might be off or wrong.
