the normal menstruation takes place 3-7 days after your menstruation ovulation occurs thus you can get pregnant as long as your eggs have reached the uterine and its lifespan is 12-24hours.

You only ovulate once during each menstrual cycle. It is only possible to get pregnant the first days before and the first few days after you ovulate. The rest of the time it is unlikely to get pregnant, however, you can never know for sure when you are ovulating, thus use protection.

The entire cycle of ovulation lasts the last two weeks before your period, but you can only become pregnant if there are sperm present for the 24 hours that the egg is travelling through the fallopian tube.

Ovulation takes place in mid cycle. The human egg lasts approximately 12 to 24 hours. This is the time when the woman is fertile. Sperm can live up to 5 days. Pregnancy can occur if you have intercourse before ovulation and sometimes up to two days after ovulation.
