How long do you have to go to school to go from being a CRN to a MD?

I am a nurse and would like to become a doctor.

It usually takes four to seven years, depends on what credits you already have, how old they are and if they will transfer to another college.

If you have a bachelor's degree, and have taken the medical school prerequisites (which include a lot of classes like organic chemistry and physics), you can go directly to medical school, which takes four years. If you need a bachelor's or some prerequisites, you must add that time.

As a CRN, I assume you already have a bachelor's degree. If not, you will have to complete that. Next, you will need to be accepted into medical school, which lasts 4 years. Finally, complete residency, which lasts 3-8 years, depending on specialization.
