How long can I keep frozen meat before eating it?

It depends on the meat and how you package it when you freeze it. Chicken is good for six months if packaged right. Hamburger meat is four months. Pork is a little longer than beef.

For the best quality, store ground meats no more than 4 months, cooked meats 3 months, and uncooked meat for up to 12 months.

it depends on the meat. hamburger and red meat will keep longer than chicken will. Chicken can be kept for about six months. where as most red meat pork and beef can be kept for up to a year. I'm not sure how long that fish can be kept for though. I think its six months like chicken.

Frozen meat won't go bad, but after a long period of time, the quality will decrease. Generally, try to use frozen meat before 6 months.
