Will my diet be more effective if I do not eat after six in the evening?

Yes it will. You are more sedendary in the evening and therefore not burning calories as you would in the day time.

It is best if you do eat frequently, but only small meals each time. As you progress towards the evening, your energy needs will slowly decline so your need for carbs is less. As a result, you should make your diet very low in carbs and higher in proteins. This way you reduce glucose levels in your blood.

You shouldn't eat anything three hours before you go to sleep at night. So time your meal times based on when you go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning. It's a good idea to have a small snack before you can't eat anymore so your stomach isn't unsettled.

Yes,your diet would be more effective if you do not eat after six in the evening. If you eat a late meal the meal will sit without being digested.
