Odontoma are usually conservatively treated unless risk of jaw fractures are present. In that case surgery is usually performed to remove the odontoma.

in a 57 years old woman asimptomathic, I left inside an odontoma very close to mental foramen and i put tilted implants for prosthesis. thus has been considered wrong by a collegue. even if, 4 years later, there is no odontoma changement. I would have you opinion in this case. add a comment
