The first thing you will need to to is buy a power cord and connect it to the range. Then all that is left to do is just plug the cord in like you would any other appliance.

Remove the screws holding panel cover. In an electrical range the wire is thicker than in a regular circuit. Feed the wire up into the box so that the strain relief will close around an insulated section of wire. tightened the screws. Push the electric range into position.

An electric range is hardwired into the house system. This is done by using a pig-tail (short cord) from the back of the range to a box mounted on the floor or wall behind range. The pigtail is wired into the range using screws to the range, the other side is connected with wire nuts in the interconnect box.
