It depends on why you were apart. If the problem was distance and you've moved closer together, reconciliation should be pretty easy. Otherwise, expect struggle and hard work.

It is extremely hard to get back together with someone, it depends on the reason why you broke up with that person in the first place, but if you really love someone you would try your very best to forgive and forget and work things out.

This depends on why you broke up. If the relationship ended due to abuse, threats, blackmail, or addiction, you should not get together at all. If it ended due to immaturity, it is not hard to get back together IF you have both matured. If the relationship failed due to deceit, this is a bad decision.

Not hard if you are optimistic. Every relationship has a chance, however, it takes two people to give a relationship a second chance. Do not force someone to get back to you, though. Just try your best.
