How does one know that one has found true love?

I can tell you that true love isn't someone who hesitates marrying you, true love would put your needs before his own, and wouldn't even think of going a day without you. He wouldn't make any promises he couldn't keep. He would never abandon you, ever.

Sometimes it'll hit you like a ton of bricks, and you'll just know that you're in love. But dating a lot of people so you have comparison points helps!

There's no way to know for sure. That's the beauty (and the horrible thing) about true love. You're willing to invest in it despite the fact that it might hurt you. Just ask yourself how that person makes you feel and go with that.

There is a feeling of being 'home' when in that person's presence. The feeling that a warm comforting liquid has permeated every cell of your body just because they are holding you close. You feel willing to suffer terrible pain just for the possibility of being with them.
