Lisinopril decreases Angiotensinogen II production, which indirectly cause the release of another hormone, Aldosterone, and to a much lesser extent, DHEA, DHEAS, and androstenedione, which are weak androgens ("testosterones").

Lisinopril does not affect testosterone. It is an anti hypertensive. It can cause erectile dysfunction due to the anti hypertensive effect. It prevents the penis from filling with blood because it is keeping the blood pressure down. There are other blood pressure medications that can be used that do not cause ED
