How does astrology and you birthday affect your personality?

Signs have specific traits that pertain to them. With the twelve signs there are personality aspects given to each sign. Such as with the case of Taurus, they are known to be stubborn and Pisces can be dreamers vs. concrete thinkers. Astrology has been in use in some way or another for centuries. It's not know concretely where it began.

I do believe alot of what is said about my birth sign does not affect my personality. Many of the traits do resemble my personality but alot of what is said about my sign (Virgo) is true.
