You cannot get a college degree in astrology, but you can take classes at local new age stores and shops. Local Las Vegas groups to contact regarding classes would be Las Vegas Stargazers at or the American Federation of Astrologers contact Margie Herskovitz at 702-838-8383. Ms. Herskovitz offers private tutoring and coursework.

Astrology is not a science and is not offered as a college major. There are different kinds of astrology, but none are considered academic. It is a "pseudoscience" and considered by many to be a form of fortune-telling. There are astrologers in your area that teach classes, and you can find classes online as well.

They are available at the National Counsil for Geocosmic Research (NCGR's) Las Vegas Chapter, which is called the Las Vegas Stargazers. To learn more attend one of their meetings, which usually occur on the last Thursday of each month at 7pm. Meetings are held at the Marie Callendar's on Flamingo.

The Las Vegas Stargazers has classes in Vegas. You can contact them through www. geocosmic. org. The Bell, Book and Candle shop also has classes. Contact them through www. lasvegasbbc. com. These classes are small and you will get lots of personal attention.

Well you can take them anywhere at any university. All universities in Las Vegas and even community colleges have introductory courses in astrology. Also you may want to know that there are distance education courses online that you can do from virtually any university. It will be on line as well.
