How does adware get on my computer?

If you never install things from other sites, chances are that the adware is downloaded onto your computer without your consent when you go to certain websites.

You can get it from anywhere. If you have other people sharing the same network at home or at the office adware and viruses could pass through the network. Also sometimes when you go to sites as the web page is loading, or at least it seems like its loading, it will automatically install unwanted files onto your computer.

Adware can be installed from vulnerabilities in your computer, mostly when web browsing so always keep up with updates and use a spyware and virus removal tool reguarly.

Some "Fake" website or infected websites have spyware latched to them and when it is some of them will automatically install a process which you are unaware of in the background and run it you dont have to download anything per say to get adware.
