How does a wishing well work?

You walk up to the well. You find a coin, preferably a penny or a quarter. Toss it over the well and wait to hear the splash as it hits the water. You make the wish before your coin hits the water. The Fates are suppose to listen to you.

Wishing well works when you continue to believe in having chances in almost everything in life. For me,wishing well is just a symbol of your faith, nobody listens to the wishes but yourself.

A wishing well usually works when you throw in coins into it. You make a wish when you throw it in. Supposedly, God or the gods listen to their wishes and may or may not grant it.
