Ac ountertop range goes onto your countertop. It doesn not take up too much space underneath, so you can surely use that space as cabinet space.

A counter top range takes very little room in the cabinets. I looked at ours and it comes down from the top of the inside of the cabinet approximately three inches. There is one small cable containing the wiring that runs along the back of the cabinet.
