In Florida, recycling a plastic bottle is as easy as two steps. First you have a bottle, clean or dirty, and take the bottle outside to the recycle bin or can. After the bottle is in the bin or can you can take the can out to the curb. That is how you recycle a bottle in Florida.

You just have to place it in a receptacle for plastic recycling or a specific bin for bottles and it will be recycled. You don't have to wash it out or clean it beforehand.
