Id run the wire to the running lights, or the radio. Something you always have on so that it will keep the engine cooler, you could also incorporate an inline switch to turn it on and off as you please. Remember positive is red negative is black, no ground is needed here.

The best thing to do is to look at the wiring diagram before you start running wires wherever you think they look good. Make sure you take the negative cable off of the battery and then you can start wiring in the fan. You are going to ned to run it from the fuse box and then to the fan.

The fan is a high amp draw unit, so a relay needs to be installed. The wiring should go from power to relay, relay to fan. This will keep the fan from burning up the wiring. I would also use a fused power lead, and dont use less than a 12 gauge wire on this job.
