To wire a series of four batteries, take a wire leading from the positive on the first battery, and connect it to the positive of the second battery, connect the positive from the second battery and connect it to the positive on the third battery. Do the same leading to the fourth. Follow the same steps for the negative terminal.

In parallel wiring of any circuit, the negative terminals of all the batteries have to be connected together. Similarly the positive terminals of all the batteries have to be connected together. You may connect even higher number of batteries in this manner. Please note that the voltage remains the same as each individual battery.

Connect the positive of first battery to positive of the next battery and the negative of the first battery to the negative of the next one until it's all connected.

connect a wire to all the positives and another to all the negative sides of the batteries. Then feed one of the ends to your appliance. In this form it is parallel where one battery can be removed and current stilkl flow in the system.
