Different Manufacturers will have different installation instructions. If the booklet is unavailable consult the manufacturers website. Most installations are similar however and rather straightforward. General with a dedicated 12-2 gauge wire ran from a double pole breaker you connect directly to the black and red wires on the heater. Thermostat installations are a little different.
