When he bites, immediate grab him by the muzzle, hold it firmly, look him in the eye and say "NO!" Release him in 2-3 seconds and move on.

The dog may be playing, herding, bored, frightened or aggressive. First give the dog exercise by taking for long walks or runs, but make sure it is in the 'heel' position. It needs to know you are in charge. Don't encourage bad behavior by rewarding the dog with affection or praise when it's doing something bad. See a professional trainer.

There are a few different methods people choose when dealing with a dog that bites. Some people use shock collars. This could seriously injure your dog, so be careful!

Because biting and chewing are absolutely vital to a dog's very nature; you will find it to be difficult if not utterly impossible to train dog not to bite. The best suggest would be to teach your dog that all humans are higher in the hierarchy that the dog is.
