First, think about where they come from naturally: a wet to swampy environment. To grow these plants well, you must be able to mimic the light, humidity and temperature of its natural environment. I would grow these plants in a terrarium - and never allow them to experience direct sun. These plants are also carniverous, so need bugs for nutrients!

They love to live in bogs. Pick a sunny spot and dig a hole 2 feet dip, 3or4 feet around, fill with a strong Polyethylene plastic. Put 1/4 of dirt back in and fill to top with sphagnum peat moss. Mix this with the dirt and tramp down. Water thoroughly, plant your Sundew and enjoy!
