Wash gently with a mild soap rather than detergent and allow to fully dry on low heat for several hours. Air outside occasionally between washes.

If possible, hand wash it. Otherwise, use a front load washer only and a quick/light cycle. Down is very tempermental. Dry it very lightly in a dryer, and then lay it flat. Fold gently along creases/seams, and store in a bag to keep dust free. Try not to crush/flatten.
