"Ola" is hello, pronounced like the Spanish "hola." To say good morning/good afternoon/good night, you can say "Bom dia," "Boa tarde," and "Bom noite."

A simple hello is "Olá" (pron. olah). But if you want to say something more elaborated, you can say "Olá, tudo bem? (pron. olah tude baim), or "Olá, tudo em cima?" (pron. olah tude ein seema), or "Olá, como vai?" (pron. olah cume vae), or "Olá, tudo na boa?" (pron. olah tude na booah).
