People from Portugal are human beings, just like everyone else. They can be introverts and extroverts. They can be smart or dumb, kind or cruel. They have the same personality types as anyone else. Why on earth would you think differently?

Defining national personality types is always subjective, but Portugal is 97% Roman Catholic, and though the people often look sad or downtrodden to outsiders, they are generally laid back, friendly and eager to help. Urbanites are like most other Europeans, while rural dwellers tend to be deeply superstitious.

Binome, I think your answer is a little too simple. Culture affects personality. That must be taken into account.
