Who are some famous Portuguese explorers?

Ferdinand Magellan made the first voyage around the world. Vasco da Gama discovered an ocean route from Portugal to the East. Pedro Alvares Cabral was the first European explorer to see Brazil. All of these men were from Portugal. Two other Portuguese explorers were Gasper Corte Real and Bartolomen Dias.
