How do you replace the spark plugs on a 4.6 Ford engine?

It is actually very simple. Unbolt all of the coils and pull them out and then the plugs are there, just use a spark plug socket.

Well they are replaced like any other plugs. You just have to work a whole lot harder and be very careful not to snap the plug off. Sometime the intake will have to be disassembled but only on certain models.

Well you would replace them like any other engine. Remove the coils/wires, remove the plugs, install the new one with some anti seize, and replace the coils/wires.

The spark plugs are located under the coil packs next to the injectors. Using a 7mm socket remove the coils to access the spark plugs.
