How do you replace the cold water valve on a Maytag Performa?

The cold water valve is replaced by removing the screw that holds the valve to the dresser. You will then to dis-attach the hose for removal.

Press the filter release button then remove the filter cap from your old filter and put this on your new one, remove plastic from O-rings and insert your new filter.

Once again, this is why you pay the price you do for Maytag appliances. Call Maytag and have them come out and do it.

When attempting to do this first, consult the manual of your Maytag Performa. If there is no information on this it probably isn't a user serviceable part.
