THe best solution to a full hard drive is to upgrade. You can either upgrade and get a larger size hard drive or you can purchase an external hard drive.

To replace the hard drive on a laptop you have to remove the drive, usually there is a small catch on the underside that releases the drive which will probaly pop out slightly, simply put the new dive in its place. Laptops usually don't have a second hard drive bay.
