How do you replace a Ford's transmission fluid?

I am not very knowledgeable about cars.

Your best option would be to take your vehicle into your local Ford dealer because draing and refilling transmission fluid isn't what you need. You need a transmission flush that takes out the old fluid and puts new in as well as flushes out your tourqe converter.

First thing is to know what model and year of the car. Then by going on the internet or to the parts store they can help find a manual to help with your fuild change. Generally you would remove the plug or oil pan from the transmission and drain it.

First drive the car around a little. Then remove the drain or drop the transmission pan to drain the fluid. Finally refill it with the correct amount of the recommended fluid type. It will tell you this in the owners manual.
