The only fixes that can be performed on a power steering pump are the front shaft seal - requiring pulley removal - an O-ring on the pressure hose or the clamp on the return hose. All other leak repairs require complete replacement of the pump/reservoir.

Depending on the leak's location: the pump itself; it's hoses; or the reservoir. A serious leak can require replacing the entire system. Products exist to seal minor leaks at home.

Depends on where its leaking. Sometimes you can just buy new orings or seal kits for it and its alot cheaper than replaceing the whole pump.
