How do you repair a garden hose?

there is a hose repair kit available at walmart for a few bucks but the down side to it is it makes the hose weak in the repair place all it is is a plastic coupler with clamps and some have screws that hold together and can be easily broken.

I don't repair garden hoses unless they were high quality hoses to begin with. The cost of the parts to repair them is as much as the new hose. If you want to repair anyway, go to a store with garden equipment. They have kits to repair hoses.

If the problem is holes in the hose, you can make amendments. The cost of the amendments is very low compared to buying a new hose. The only condition that does not pay for repairs when it is dry and the sun begins to break into several point.
