In Internet Explorer, click Tools from the menu bar, and then select "Internet Options". On the popup box, look for the heading "Browser History". You will then need to look for the option to delete this history. After pressing the delete button, all history of the websites you have visited in the past will be gone.

Depends on which browser you use, but in all popular browsers you must go down in history and remove it, or go to options and find clear history
