Crayon is basically made of wax. If you know how to remove candle wax, then you know how to remove crayon. Since it is basically made of wax, it can just be melted out but don't put it in the dryer before the wax gets out or it could contaminate other clothing.

Put a folded paper towel under the garmet with the stain and spray with a little bit of WD40 work it into the stain then add a drop of liquid dish soap. Clean up the crayon spray and then put the item into the laundry and wash normally. This should remove the crayon completely.
