How do you remove cabinet handles?

The handles for my kitchen cabinets need to be replaced but I can not get the old ones off.

first you get a screw driver (phillips head or fladhead which ever the handle requires) then open the cabinet to see the screws on the inside of the cabinet (some might be hand screw able) then start to loosen the 2 screws and soon enough your handle will be off in no time

You will need a drill or a screw driver, most likely a Philips or flat head. Open the door or drawer and insert the drill bit or screw driver into the screw holding the handle on the opposite side of the door or drawer. Now turn the screw counter clockwise and the handle will fall off.

On the inside of the cabinet doors themselves, you should see the screws that hold the handles on; simply unscrew those with a screwdriver, and the handles should come off.

You can try cutting them off with a reciprocating saw. Then you could drill new holes for the new handles. If you really cant remove them you can try painting them for a new look.

Simple. On the back of the cabinet there is a wire. You just need to untwist the wire and the handle will fall off.

They have a screw in them from the inside. Sometimes these are covered with a little piece of foam or sticker.
