There are a few ways you can do this. There are some sprays on the market that will shoot long distances. You can uses these to knock them down and kill the bees. If not, a long stick will do or a jet of water from a hose. Once the home is gone the bees will find a new home.

One effective method is to contact a local bee keeper; often, these enthusiasts will gladly remove honey bee swarms and nests for property owners free of charge in exchange for being permitted to retain the removed hive. If other types of bees are involved, you should contact your local health department for advice relating to your specific area.

For the most protection use a bee-proof suit. Also remove it when it is cold outside as possible. You can sometimes use smoke to make the bees leave the nest.
