Go to file and then go to document and then go to color mode and then go to CMYK. From here, you should be able to adjust the grayscale of the image you are editing.

Hit up File and then Document and use Color Mode and CMYK. You'll be able to adjust grayscale there easily.

File,Document Color Mode Choose RGB, RGB projects. Choose CMYK for CMYK and grayscale projects. Choose Filter, Colors, Convert to CMYK. Sometimes stuck and won't change when you do this. When this happens:Quit Illustrator,Locate and throw away the AI Prefs file and AI Color Settings File, Restart.

The gray scale is apply of resolution color this is dark color this color is reduce procedure is click the menu next click to the image color option and then click to the option.
