It is common knowledge that Mr. Jiminy Cricket, formally employed by Disney has an eye for the ladies. For a small fee I believe Mr. Cricket may be willing to offer stud services.

Make sure the farm has good heat supply because crickets need warmth. Create a water dish, create a breeding dish with a container and dirt with plenty of water. Feed them plenty of chopped veggies and lay out an old egg carton for them to lay their eggs in.
