Record your songs unto cd-r's or demo tapes. Self releasing is a great way to distribute your music to blogs and record companies to get the attention it deserves.

You can start by composing using different programs like Finale, noteflight, sibellius and so on. Then once you've finished a composition print it out and expose it to the world!!!

There is no one way to publish songs. The best way to do so would be to copyright your song and then go around studios to see who is interested.
