Well bike with chains have adjusters on the axle that move the wheel farther away from the drive gear to remove slack. You bike should have something similar. Under the unlikely instance that there is none then you will have to install a new belt.

The Harley bikes are provided with chain adjusters on the axle that move the rear wheel further from the drive gear to remove the slackness. When the adjuster had reached its extreme end with no further length to extend, the it is needed to be replaced with a new one.

The Harley-Davidson drive belt is what feeds the rear wheel power from the transmission. Harley drive belts are very strong and durable and only need replacement after thousands of miles of riding. Unless you have a warranty, a replacement will cost a few hundred dollars at your Harley dealer. Do it yourself in about 30 minutes, for less than $50

Most bikes have a belt/chain adjuster built into the swing-arm that allows you to move the rear wheel back. So adjust this back until there is the appropriate amount of slack in the belt. If the adjuster is maxed out then you will need to purchase and install a replacement drive belt.

Since they are rubber, drive belts will stretch over time. All you can do is keep the adjusted tight and replace them at regular intervals. You may also want to check into possibly using a upgraded drive belt that may stretch less than a stock style one or just converting over to a chain drive setup.

Do to the nature of rubber drive belts they can gain slack over time. You may be able to remove some of the slack by moving your rear wheel farther back in the swing-arm if it has an adjustment. However if this is not sufficient you will simply have to replace the belt all together.
